Membership Agreement
Version 2026-09-12. This is the whole document every brother signs before he builds his profile. Read it slowly. Nothing here is hidden from you.
1. What this room is
The Steadfast Lounge is a private Christian community for men aged 18 or older who walk with same sex attraction and sexual brokenness and want to bring that walk before the Lord and trusted brothers. We are built on honesty, prayer and accountability. Ephesians 6:11-18 is the posture we take here. We stand, we stay alert, and we keep praying for one another.
2. What this room is not
This is not a dating space, a sexual space, a hookup space, therapy, medical care or crisis care. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services. Nothing here replaces qualified pastoral or professional help.
3. I will not share contact information
I will not post, request, hint at or disguise anything that could let another brother reach me outside this room. That includes email addresses, phone numbers, usernames, links, social accounts, messaging handles and location instructions. This applies to my profile, my answers, posts, comments, journals, devos, chats and prayer requests.
4. I will not be a stumbling block
I will not serve as a catalyst to hinder the growth or strengthening of any man here, his relationship with God, or his journey through same sex attraction and redemption in Jesus' name. No sexual solicitation, no grooming, no explicit material, no harassment, no threats.
5. What is said here stays here
I will not copy, screenshot, quote, download or retell another brother's words outside this room. Journals, private devos and private messages belong to the man who wrote them.
6. My account is mine alone
I will use my own account, answer the membership questions myself, give true required information and keep my password secure. I will not create an account for another person or let anyone else use mine.
7. Everything written here is checked
Content is screened before it is published and again when it is saved. If the check finds possible contact information or prohibited solicitation, it is not published. A blocked draft may be kept privately for staff review, and it is never shown to members unchanged.
8. Staff may review for safety
Authorized staff may open reported or reasonably suspected content and accounts when safety requires it, and may flag, hide, restore, restrict, suspend or end access. Those reads and actions are recorded in staff history. Staff must never use that access out of curiosity or for personal advantage.
9. Entry is by approval, not by arrival
Creating an account is not membership. My profile answers and declarations are reviewed before my profile and prayers go live, and access can be paused or ended if I break this agreement.
10. My signature
By signing I confirm I am at least 18, that I have read this agreement, the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Safety standards and the house rules, and that I accept them. Important changes may require me to sign again.
