a quiet room for men to be honest
Why I built this room
I kept seeing the same thing. Most places built for men like us were not safe. A man would finally say the true thing out loud and be judged for it. Worse, he could be preyed on at the very point where he was most vulnerable in his healing.
That showed me something I could not ignore. A man cannot be honest and be hunted at the same time. Openness and safety are not two separate promises. Either both are true, or neither one is.
So I built a room where we can say it plainly without being led astray, and without leading a brother astray. We are Christian men bringing same sex attraction and sexual brokenness before the Lord and one another. We stand in the full armor of God, as Ephesians chapter 6, verses 11 through 18 calls us to do. The fight is daily. The victory is His.
A valid invitation is required. The Steadfast Lounge is a private community for Christian men who walk with same sex attraction and sexual brokenness and want to bring these before the Lord and their brothers for redemption, healing and growth. It is not a dating or sexual space. You must be 18 or older, conversations stay in this room, and contact information is never allowed.
